5 HR Ethics: Understanding Composite Board Complaints Investigations

"I wish I had taken this ethics workshop when I was initially licensed." -Tamara Ashley  "This workshop answered questions I've had about our industry for 20 years." -Richard Blankenship  "...the least torturous ethics workshop I have attended."- Jaclyn Devore

Whereas there are many professional association codes of ethics, if you want to maintain your license the Composite Board uses only Rule Chapter 135-7 "Code of Ethics" in it’s enforcement of licensee complaints.

Other codes of ethics even conflict with Georgia 135-7. The purpose of this workshop is to explain the process by which complaints are investigated. Participants bring actual ethical dilemmas for guidance.

Course Objectives:

1) Demonstrate understanding of the process of composite board complaints.
2) Through a line by line analysis of 135-7 demonstrate an understanding of how composite board ethics are applied.
3) Gain an understanding of how boundary crossings deteriorate into boundary violations and how this can be remedial and implemented in professional practice.4) Participants will learn how to simplify and analyze their ethical dilemmas.
